Tara Vodihn

Tara Vodihn is pleased to return to New Theatre as the Literary Manager. Between appearing in four plays and serving as Dramaturg and Assistant Director for Ricky J. Martinez's SIN FULL HEAVEN, it feels like she never left!

Vodihn has a degree in Philosophy from Carleton College. She then interned at The Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis, was a staff member at Penumbra Theatre in St. Paul, MN and curated a Performance Art series in conjunction with a Carrie Mae Weems Exibit at the Walker Art Center, as well as writing and appearing in her own pieces for the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Since returning home to Miami, she has been nominated for a Carbonell Award, received an Outstanding Newcomer Award from New Theatre, and a Remy Award for service to the Theatre community. She is also a former Board member of the Theatre League of South Florida. Vodihn is very thankful for the many opportunities she has had to work and grow while being part of a beautiful community of talented artists.
