The Cast
Bruce Linser - South Florida credits: Enchanted April (Caldwell Theatre).
National Tour: Big River (Dodger Productions). New York credits: Naked Boys
Singing (Off-Broadway), Saving Anne (BMI Workshop), and Free Fall
(Broadway Theatre Institute) for which he also wrote the book. Regional credits: Violet (Laguna
Playhouse), A Funny Thing... Forum (Saddleback CLO), Buddy (Ordway Music Theatre),
Harriet: The Woman Called Moses (Skylight Opera Theatre), and Forever Plaid
(practically everywhere). Film: "Drop Dead Gorgeous" (New Line Cinema). Voice-over: "The Littlest
Light" (Hallmark animated holiday specials).
Jenny Levine has been working in film, theatre and television for over a decade. Formerly based out of
LA, Jenny returned to South Florida in July 2004. Leading roles in film and television include: Anne Rice's
The Feast of All Saints (mini-series for ABC), Fast Track (Showtime, Larry Gelbart, ),
Bliss (The Movie Network, Canada), Jake and the Kid (Global TV, Canada), and The
Outer Limits (Showtime, MGM). Jenny also recently completed a supporting role in the Robert DeNiro film,
Godsend that was unfortunately left on the cutting room floor. Guest starring roles include:
Nash Bridges, Doc, Monk, 1-800 Missing, Black Hole High, and Soul Food. Smaller roles in
features include: The Recruit and the upcoming Lovewrecked. Theatre credits include:
Clarence Darrow's Last Trial (New Theatre) Summer Shorts (City Theatre, Miami),
Savage in Limbo (Stella Adler Theatre, LA), Words of Women (Tamarind, LA), The
Diviners (Tamarind, LA) and Fool for Love (Stella Adler Theatre). Jenny graduated from the USC
School of Theatre after studying at Northwestern and HB Studio. She is currently the co-founder of a new film
production company in Miami and also the proud teacher of the ninth grade acting class at New World School of the
Arts.
Brandon Morris (Bennie) is happy to be making his New Theater debut with Touch. He is a proud alum
of New World school of the Arts where he received hi B. F. A. for acting. Past favorites include; The Boys Next Door
(Palm Beach Dramaworks), Black Sheep (Florida Stage), The Food Chain (Mosaic Theater),
Mamet (Juggerknot Theater Co.), and City Theaters' Carbonell nominated Summer Shorts Festival
for the past three years. This summer, following Touch, will make it his fourth. Brandon is a proud union
member and would like to thank Gail, Rafael, cast and crew, also Mom, Gina, Granny, and my old lady Dianne for their support.
"Adieu, Adieu..."
Lela Elam is very excited to be working at New Theatre. She recently appeared in The M Ensemble's
production of Our Short Stay. Last year, she appeared in The Anastasia Trials in the Court
of Women and Necessary Targets with The Women's Theatre Project and in Flyin' West
and Two Trains Running with The M Ensemble. She also appeared in The Metropolitan Diversity Theatre's
(formerly the Vinnette Carrol Theatre) production of Just Us. She recently finished touring Miami-Dade
County Public Elementary Schools in a production of Louie the Lizard and is currently touring Miami-Dade
County Public High Schools in a production of Skycheaters, both produced by The Coconut Grove
Playhouse. Lela wishes to thank God, as she considers herself very blessed!
