Paula Levine, Ph. D.

Paula Levine, Ph. D., is the co-director of Miami Counseling and Resource Center in Coral Gables, and enjoys a fruitful career in clinical psychology, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and anxiety disorders. She is past president of National Eating Disorders Association (NEDAW) and serves on the editorial board of Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention.

Dr. Levine is a media spokesperson for the American Psychological Association, makes frequent television appearances, and contributes regularly to newsletters, magazines, and conferences, both locally and nationally. She champions youth and helps families understand how to better raise psychologically healthy children in a media-crazed world.

Dr. Levine's passions for theatre, music, dance and art make her an ardent supporter of the arts in our community. She believes in giving back, making a difference, and inspiring young audiences to become more interested in volunteerism and the non-profit world. In addition to her being co-chair of New Theatre's board of directors, she serves on the boards of City Theatre, Funding Arts Network, and the Michael Scholz Memorial Charitable Foundation.
