Mark Vance considers himself an experimental abstract photographer and is constantly searching for new ways to express himself. For over 20 years, Mark has worked with the Creative Thinking Association of America which popularized the phrase, "Think Outside the Box." Mark's creativity began as a young boy when he received a Pentax SP-500 still camera and continued with a degree in film from California State University, Northridge, ownership of a video production company and as the producer on several award winning short films. Mark now brings creativity to fine art photography. None of Mark's photos are combined or composite pictures, they are from single exposure and none of them are computer generated. Mark believes that real settings resonate on a much deeper level in our brains and people have something in their DNA that relates to certain abstract shapes, colors and patterns. Mark's pictures have been used on ABC's Private Practice and CBS's Eleventh Hour. Mark hopes that you will find his photographs unusual, creative and inspiring and that they will evoke thoughts and emotions within you.
