Our Exhibiting Artists
Cristina Chacon
Cristina Chacon is a contemporary artist who was born in Colombia (South America). She finished her College degree in her natal country and moved to the United States since 1994, where she has received artistic influence permitting her professional evolution in that area.
Her work is plenty of abundance and full of colors and texture but simple and clean in the concept. Cristina has been participating in several exhibitions individually and collectively.
"Slightness of the 'real world' has always played a primary role in the development of my work. Studies of human nature and human direction from an artist's eye provide the primary source for the inspiration, content and concept. As a student of freedom to direct my own thoughts and actions to the canvas create the line of development for me. Through my art I point out the tools needed for self-direction and hope that those who would benefit from them will take the opportunity to share my vision. My renderings of light and color bring a unique sensitivity to life's issues in the portrait incorporating human existence into my compositions."
